Bhaiyo aur behno! Aap sab ko Raksha Bandhan ki dher saari badhaiyan ho 🙂 I’ve got a short travel post for you today. Did you take full advantage of the extended weekend? When holidays line up like that, it’s your duty to plan a mini-vacation! Or are you one of those people who are still not free (out of choice or not) to take vacations without adult (adulter than yourself 😛 ) supervision, 69 years after your own country’s freedom?
Independence day was very uneventful for me although I can’t complain. I had the most soul-crushing time earlier and having a little nothingness was such a respite. Haven’t been feeling up to it lately so I decided to take it easy for a few days. A lot of colleges and offices had “ethnic day”, so it was fun
to casually stalk people on fb. Okay, I admit, I’m too lazy to even stalk! I just scrolled through my feed 😛 Also I realize, I never got to wish you guys for Eid or Friendship Day! Belated wishes and I sincerely hope you had a great time!
Nagur and Velankani
So a while back some relatives were planning a holiday and I decided to hijack the trip at the last minute! We planned to go to Nagur and Velankani. We hung out by the beach, played some aquatic volleyball, went on a skiff, shopped and ate a load of sea food! And like all extended-family vacations it was VERY dramatic. Shit went down. Like, I can’t even. Despite the beef, it was fun to be in the sun and get a little more colour on me. So all in all, I had a great time, but unfortunately I couldn’t say the same was the case for the rest of my party.
This was a get away, so I had no plans of posting OOTDs and stuff so there’s not a lot of pics of it. Also, all pictures were taken using my phone… Didn’t even carry my camera. That’s how sudden it was!
I hope you like this post 🙂
