Hi guys! Today’s is a travel and photography blogpost. Karanji Lake and Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary are a bird watcher’s paradise! Both, located in Mysore, Karnataka, are a hub for several migratory birds. It was World Migratory Bird last weekend, the inspiration for this post.

There are multiple galleries in this post. Click to view full sized images!

Apart from the lake itself, which permits boating, there are several dedicated mini-parks within the premises. There’s a Butterfly Park, a Flightless Bird park and even an Orchid Nursery!

For the thrill freaks, there are loads of crocodiles in the lakes and the rower takes you awfully close to them! But, no worries, they only feed at night, I hear 😀

I hope you like this post! 🙂
