Hello, you! Having a good Monday? I hope you are 🙂 Mine’s quite good, actually. Finally getting back to my love! (Hint: You’re reading it) I will be continuing the Back To School series after what feels like ages!
I must admit, I cringed as I typed the title for this post. It’s been so long since the last post (LITERALLY two months) that it feels like people must have graduated by now 😛 Apologies are in order. I’m terribly sorry for dying on you. It was never my intention. Not posting quite possibly tortured me most. I’ll Explain at the end of the post, in case you’re interested. But for now, lets get groovy baby! HAHA 😀
NOTE: This is Part 2 of a three part series.
Girls’ Day Out
This is a fun preppy back to school look! Very girly and conservative. Truth be told, most of these looks are. What with all the dress codes and restrictions. My intention is to create realistically wearable looks. All my convent girls… I got you, boo! It has color and feminine accents with just a hint of bling, making it the ideal outfit for a day out with your girlies.
The genius of it, though, is that I’ve used the collar and print of the under-shirt as a necklace, of sorts. It’s a great little detail and makes the look super feminine. The pair of brooches add a little sparkle and lady-like glam to the top.
I’m such a nerdling 😛
I’ve also styled my old glasses with the outfit. This angle was my photographer’s idea of a creative shot! He’s a funny kid 😀
Everyone and their mothers know about my obsession with these jeans, by now! (Styled my friend in it, for a boho look)
I’ve gone for a more elaborate makeup look compared to last time! A nice winged liner, mascara, some blush and a nudy-coral lip!
